Poly furniture is made from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a recyclable plastic that will never need to be painted or stained. It will not rot or splinter, and it contains an added UV protective agent to resist fading. Poly furniture is not affected by most corrosive substances, and will not promote bacterial growth.

To maintain the beauty of your furniture, clean it regularly with soap and water. Use only nonabrasive soaps. Do not place flower pots or any items on furniture that will leave stains. Do not place hot items directly onto furniture to avoid melting. All hardware is stainless steel and virtually maintenance free under normal conditions. However, in coastal areas, hardware will need regular rinsing with fresh water to eliminate rusting.

Gary Pearce, owner of Cedar Outdoor Furniture, a dealership for Berlin Gardens, LLC, recently attended the Berlin, Ohio based manufacturer’s annual dealer seminar and expo. This year’s show had 110 attendees representing 49 dealerships from as far away as Florida, Texas, and Ontario, Canada. Berlin Gardens manufactures a complete line of poly lumber outdoor furniture, gazebos, garden arbors, and other backyard products.

This year’s seminar “Managing By Values”, opened with Berlin Garden’s president, Sam
Yoder reviewing the core values of Berlin Gardens, which include integrity, honesty, and commitment, and relating them to the quality of their products and the service provided to customers. Sam explained that the “lean manufacturing process” incorporated by Berlin Gardens has sought to reduce waste and improve efficiency in every aspect of operation, thereby offering greater value and quality to their dealers, which, in turn, can be passed along to Cedar Outdoor Furniture customers. We're rolling out new lines and new products for the 2010 season. Our Tropical Collection includes 5 bright poly lumber colors and is available on our Adirondack Chair, Adirondack Footstool, Oblong End Table and Chaise Lounge.
Colors include Kiwi Green, Mango Orange, Sunburst Yellow, Scarlet Red and Pacific Blue.
