Cedar Outdoor Furniture awarded top honors at seminar

Gary Pearce, owner of Cedar Outdoor Furniture, a dealership for Berlin Gardens, LLC, recently attended the Berlin, Ohio based manufacturer’s annual dealer seminar and expo. This year’s show had 110 attendees representing 49 dealerships from as far away as Florida, Texas, and Ontario, Canada. Berlin Gardens manufactures a complete line of poly lumber outdoor furniture, gazebos, garden arbors, and other backyard products.

This year’s seminar “Managing By Values”, opened with Berlin Garden’s president, Sam
Yoder reviewing the core values of Berlin Gardens, which include integrity, honesty, and commitment, and relating them to the quality of their products and the service provided to customers. Sam explained that the “lean manufacturing process” incorporated by Berlin Gardens has sought to reduce waste and improve efficiency in every aspect of operation, thereby offering greater value and quality to their dealers, which, in turn, can be passed along to Cedar Outdoor Furniture customers. Next, Guy Defeo of Tangent Technologies, described the process of turning recycled milk cartons into the poly lumber used by Berlin Gardens to manufacture their poly furniture line. Keynote speaker, Jerry Anderson, President of La Red Business Network, stressed the importance of caring about and meeting the needs of every customer.

Cedar Outdoor Furniture was recognized once again as one of the top Berlin Gardens dealers in the world, and their #1 internet dealer.
